Eligibility

US-based colleges, college consortia, or universities with 501(c)3 status.; Visiting Professors must be full-time faculty at a Japanese institution of higher education.; PhD in social sciences, humanities, or related field researching Japan.; Able to spend a continuous three- to six-week period in the US.

Requirements

Hosting Institution: Administer grant, coordinate travel/lodging, implement Engagement Plan, submit final report.; Visiting Professor: Coordinate visit timeline, adhere to Engagement Plan, conduct research, participate in meetings, provide curricular module.
