Award amount

1,400 euros monthly stipend during stay in Germany

Eligibility

Doctoral candidates in home country; For sandwich model: Master's degree or Diplom (or Bachelor's in exceptional cases) by start of funding; For Cotutelle model: Admitted to a doctoral program by start of funding

Requirements

Must be a bi-national doctoral project; Must involve research stays at a state or state-recognised institution in Germany; Academic achievements assessed annually; Funding must begin in 2027
