Eligibility

Must be a U.S. Pell Grant recipient; Must meet all eligibility requirements for a regular Gilman Scholarship; Must be matriculated full-time in a degree program at a U.S. accredited college or university; Must have completed their second year of study at the time of departure; Must not have received a Gilman Scholarship funded by ECA in the past; Must not be receiving Gilman funding at the time of application

Requirements

Study or internship must take place in Germany; Internships must be at least 6 weeks in length and bear credit from the home institution; Study abroad programs must involve direct enrollment in a German university or structured interaction with German students/faculty
