Breakthrough T 1 D Request for Applications: Accelerating the Development of Combined CGM–Pump Devices

Request for applications for research and development projects addressing technical, clinical, and translational challenges for combined CGM-pump devices.

Up to $900,000 USD for up to three years
Eligibility
Domestic and foreign non-profit organizations (universities, colleges, hospitals, labs, government units).; Applicants must hold an M.D., D.O., D.M.D., D.V.M., Ph.D., or equivalent.; Must have a faculty position or equivalent at a research facility.; For-profit entities or industry collaborations may apply, with additional information requested.; Encourages proposals from a broad cross-section of researchers and scientists.
Requirements
Approaches should be scalable with a path toward clinical translation and commercialization.; Proposed technologies must address compatibility within an integrated device.; Collaborative approaches are strongly encouraged.; Solutions should consider manufacturing feasibility, sterilization, and material compatibility.; Outline a clear plan for next steps beyond the funding period.
