Cornell University-eligible Principal Investigator (PI); PI must be a current Cornell Atkinson Faculty Fellow; Graduate student mentor must be a current research-focused student (PhD, MS/PhD, or MS); Undergraduate participants must be Cornell students with at least one semester of expected enrollment following the summer research
Requirements
Projects must align with one of four priority areas: One Health, Climate Risk, Energy Transitions, or Food Security; Tiered mentorship structure: Faculty PI, graduate student mentor, and two undergraduate researchers; PI and graduate student must be at the same research location as undergraduates for the majority of the award period; Research teams must present work at a Cornell Atkinson undergraduate symposium in the Fall
