Eligibility

Must apply and interview for potential acceptance; Education and Public Programs: outgoing, adaptable, enthusiastic, interest in science/informal education; Collections and Research: friendly, adaptable, enthusiastic, interest in science; Visitor Services: customer service experience and/or bilingual skills are a plus

Requirements

Education and Public Programs: minimum 5 hours per month, 60 hours per calendar year; Visitor Services: minimum one 4-hour shift per weekday or every other weekend for 8 months to 1 year; Collections and Research: weekdays only, minimum one 4-hour shift per week for at least one year
