Graduate Fellowship Program Fellow Obligations

Eligibility
Must be able to obtain and maintain Foreign Service security, medical, and suitability clearances; Must commit to a two-year master's degree program in a field related to the Department of State's Foreign Service; Must commit to becoming a U.S. Department of State Foreign Service Officer; Must commit to a minimum five-year service commitment upon entry into the Foreign Service
