Currently participating in the Certificate program; Satisfactorily completed (3.0 GPA or above) at least two 200-level graduate seminars; Have not yet advanced to candidacy; U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents (International students with F-1/J-1 visa and SSN/ITIN eligible); Enrolled/registered previous Spring and following Fall
Requirements
Complete a 25-page paper on an early modern studies topic; Complete a draft by end of summer; Present paper at a work-in-progress session; Submit completed paper with mentor's approval letter by end of 2026-27 academic year
Application materials
Project description (max 1,000 words); Signed letter from mentor describing mentoring relationship and paper completion; Unofficial transcripts documenting seminar completion
