All incoming and current UCLA graduate students pursuing an M.A. or Ph.D.; Students in the early stages of graduate education; Must be accepted into the certificate program to apply for summer mentorship; Cannot have advanced to candidacy to apply for summer mentorship; Cannot hold two summer mentorships simultaneously
Requirements
Successful completion (3.0 GPA or above) of four 200-level graduate seminars on interdisciplinary early modern topics; One 25-page paper on an early modern topic of interdisciplinary breadth; Attendance at and brief responses to at least three affiliated lectures
Application materials
Statement of purpose (max 300 words); One letter of recommendation from faculty advisor or department chair; Copy of current transcript

Admission is competitive and applications are reviewed once a year.; Submit required documents by the application deadline.; Letter of recommendation can be emailed or sent directly to the Center.
