Current IIE-administered grant or scholarship participants
Requirements
Must file tax returns through IIE's Sprintax account; Must report both IIE and non-IIE income on one tax return; Must return the portion of tax refunds attributable to IIE-administered scholarships
Application materials
Passport; US entry and exit dates; Tax forms (W-2, 1042-S, 1099); Visa/Immigration documents (DS-2019); SSN or ITIN
How to apply
Use the IIE-provided Sprintax access code to file returns; Transfer tax forms from Sprintax Calculus to Sprintax Returns; Submit ITIN applications with federal tax returns if applicable; Request reimbursement for state taxes paid via tax@iie.org or participant portal
