CDC Steven M. Teutsch Prevention Effectiveness (PE) Fellowship Eligibility & Requirements

Official eligibility criteria for the CDC PE Fellowship, including degree requirements for Traditional and Analytics tracks, citizenship status, and relocation policies.

Eligibility
Must hold a PhD (or equivalent) with all requirements completed prior to the start of the fellowship.; Traditional Track eligible degrees: Economics, Agricultural economics, Health services research, Public health, or other related quantitative fields.; Analytics and Modeling Track eligible degrees: Epidemiology, Infectious disease modeling, Disease ecology, Applied mathematics, Operations research or industrial engineering,...; Must be a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident, or F1 visa holder.; F1 visa holders must have an OPT with EAD valid for the entire first year of the program and have STEM eligibility.; Must not be a citizen of a country designated as a state sponsor of terrorism by the U.S. Department of State.
Requirements
Non-US institution degrees require an academic credentialing evaluation and English translation.; Relocation to the city of the physical workplace is required.; Relocation costs are the responsibility of the selectee.
