Eligibility
Individual applicants (not teams); Must be affiliated with a U.S.-based institution capable of receiving federal funding; Students (undergraduate/graduate) are eligible but must coordinate with their institution and a faculty advisor; Current BSSw Fellows are not eligible to re-apply
Requirements
Proposed work must be relevant to scientific software and benefit DOE/NSF/HPC/CSE communities; Work must be well-scoped for a one-year period of performance; Must result in broad impact and publicly available artifacts; Proposer must demonstrate passion and relevant background in scientific software
