Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (for Blakemore Freeman Fellowships or Blakemore Fellowships).; Blakemore Kingfisher Fellowship applicants must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen or permanent resident, or a foreign national studying in a graduate program in the U.S. or Canada.; Must demonstrate language proficiency equivalent to at least third-year college-level study.; Undergraduate seniors may apply if they will receive their degree before the language program start date.; Applicants do not need to be currently enrolled in graduate school or affiliated with a university.
Requirements
If minimum coursework requirement is not met, must provide a Language Evaluation Form completed by a college-level instructor.; Must provide proof of language proficiency (e.g., OPI score, JLPT, HSK, TOCFL, TOPIK, or other ACTFL-aligned test score).
