Eligibility
No restrictions on age, sex, religion, ethnic origin or nationality.; Grants will not be made for undergraduate fieldwork projects.; Individuals already in possession of a doctorate are not eligible.; Grants are not made for library research, University fees, or subsistence in home institution.; Funds cannot be awarded for a joint research project, but individuals who are members of such a project can apply if its leader holds a PhD or is similarly qualified.; Permission to undertake field research must be cleared with relevant authorities and communities before application.
Requirements
Submit a final report on fieldwork at the conclusion of the research period.; Application must be submitted electronically as a PDF.; Referee must send reference separately as a PDF to the Assistant Director (Administration).
