Doctoral candidates pursuing bi-national supervision (Sandwich model) or Cotutelle procedure; Must have completed a Master's or Diploma degree (or Bachelor's in exceptional cases) for Sandwich model; Must be admitted to a doctoral program for Cotutelle procedure; Last relevant degree should generally not be older than 6 years; Doctoral studies should not have started more than 3 years ago; Must not have resided in Germany for more than 15 months at the time of application

Research proposal and work plan; Proof of language proficiency (DAAD form); Academic transcripts and degree certificates; Supervision agreement or cooperation contract for Cotutelle; CV (max 3 pages)
