Eligibility
US or Canadian citizens or permanent residents; Foreign nationals living in the USA or Canada who earned their last degree there or will earn it before the funding period starts; Must not have been resident in Germany for longer than 15 months at the application deadline; Most recent degree obtained no more than 6 years ago; Doctorate started no more than 3 years ago at time of application
Requirements
Master's degree or Diplom (or exceptional Bachelor's) for sandwich model; Admission to a doctoral program for Cotutelle model; Agreement with supervisors at both home and host institutions; Good German language skills (or English if the project language is English)
