Eligibility
Master’s degree or Diplom (or Bachelor’s in exceptional cases) for sandwich model.; Admitted to a doctoral program for Cotutelle model.; Most recent university degree obtained no more than six years ago.; Doctorate start no longer than 3 years ago.; US or Canadian citizens or permanent residents, or foreign nationals living in the US/Canada.
Requirements
Good German language skills are usually required, exceptions possible if project is in English.; DAAD Language Evaluation Form may be required.

Full curriculum vitae (max. 3 pages); List of published publications (max. 10 pages), if applicable; Letter of motivation (1-2 pages); Research proposal (max. 10 pages)
