ILS 168,000 basic stipend per academic year

Eligibility

PhD awarded no earlier than November 1, 2023 (excluding Israel); PhD candidates must defend by June 1, 2027; Must not have received any academic degree from an Israeli institution; Must not have begun a postdoctoral position in Israel before September 1, 2026; Must secure an academic sponsor at an eligible Israeli institution

Requirements

Academic sponsor must be a faculty member at an eligible Israeli institution; Sponsor cannot have previously supervised the candidate during a PhD program; STEM sponsors must commit to financing 25% of the stipend (ILS 84,000 over two years); Fellows must be based in Israel for at least 75% of the fellowship period
