Current ASME student member in good standing; Enrolled full-time at a 4-year university or 2+2 transfer program; Students within the last two semesters of graduation with part-time enrollment (less than 12 credits) will also be considered; Must be enrolled in an ABET-accredited or substantially equivalent engineering degree program; Must have a viable transcript and GPA from at least one semester of post-secondary education; Program of study must be Mechanical Engineering (ME), Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET), or closely related engineering studies
Requirements
Must be an ASME student member; Must be taking at least 25% of credits each semester in courses from the Mechanical Engineering Department if major is closely related; Priority given to students with strong ASME leadership, leadership within engineering academic context, humanitarian extra-curricular leadership, and high financial need
