Must be a current ASME student member in good standing; Enrolled full-time at a 4-year university or a 2+2 transfer program at Community College; Students within the last two semesters of graduation with part-time enrollment (less than 12 credits) will also be considered; Program of Study: Mechanical Engineering (ME), Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET), or closely related engineering studies; Must be enrolled in an ABET accredited, or substantially equivalent, engineering degree program; Must have a viable transcript and GPA from at least one semester of post secondary education

Strong ASME leadership role and participation; Leadership within the engineering academic context; Outstanding humanitarian extra-curricular leadership and activities; High level of financial need
