Eligibility
Enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or closely related discipline at a Community College, 2-Year Technical College, or Associate Degree program; Must be a current ASME student member in good standing; Must have a viable transcript and GPA from at least one semester of post-secondary education; US students: Can be enrolled part-time; must be at a regionally accredited institution (CHEA or ABET); International students: Must be enrolled full-time; must be at an ABET or regionally/nationally accredited program; local ASME Student Section must be active
Requirements
Must be taking at least 25% of credits each semester in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Engineering AS departments; Enrollment in a nationally/regionally accredited or substantially equivalent engineering degree program; Demonstrated leadership in ASME or engineering academic context; Demonstrated financial need
