Artificial Intelligence in Communication Sciences and Disorders Research Grant
A research grant opportunity from the ASHFoundation supporting interdisciplinary studies that integrate artificial intelligence into communication sciences and disorders practice.
Principal Investigator (PI) must have a PhD or equivalent research doctorate in CSD or a related discipline.; Proposed research must have direct relevance to priority areas in audiology and/or speech-language pathology.; Teams must be interdisciplinary and collaborative, including clinical and technical expertise.; Teams must include an audiologist, speech-language pathologist, and/or speech-language hearing scientist.; Students must be involved as key personnel.
Requirements
Must complete an Intent to Submit Form by March 4.; Proposals must include interdisciplinary research teams.; Proposals must address clinically relevant questions or have clear translational potential.; Must adhere to specific proposal formatting guidelines (12-point font, 1-inch margins, single-spaced).; Must submit a final report of activities and outcomes by December 31, 2027 (or 2028 for two-year studies).; Must commit to depositing de-identified datasets, documentation, and analysis code in a trusted repository.
