Eligibility

Must have received a PhD or equivalent research doctorate in communication sciences and disorders or a related field.; Must demonstrate potential for and commitment to independent research.; Must have a clear plan for applying for extramural research support.; Research must have significance and direct application to audiology or speech-language pathology intervention or assessment practices.

Requirements

Must complete an Intent to Submit Form (deadline March 5 for 2025 cycle).; Proposals must be submitted as one PDF document.; Must include a pilot research study that can be completed in one year.; Must include a management plan for submitting follow-up grant proposals.; Must include IRB approval or human subjects documentation if applicable.
