Nadia Christensen Prize: $2500 award, publication, medallion

Eligibility

Outstanding English translations of Nordic poetry, fiction, drama, or literary prose; Original author born after 1900; Leif and Inger Sjöberg Award for previously unpublished literature translations

Requirements

Manuscripts: prose max 50 pages, poetry max 25 pages, typed, double-spaced, numbered; Translator's name must not appear on manuscript pages; Translation not previously published in English by deadline; one entry only per translator

Application materials

Translation copy with title page and table of contents; Original language work copy (relevant pages); Translator's CV with contact information; author/agent permission letter
