Eligibility

Current ASA membership is required for award recipients at the time the award is given, unless the award is specifically for non-members/non-sociologists.; For the Outstanding Publication Award: A single author or one of the coauthors must be a SALC member.; For the Outstanding Publication Award: Only SALC members are permitted to make nominations.

Requirements

For Matilda White Riley Distinguished Scholar Award: Full nomination letter and nominee's CV.; For SALC Outstanding Mentoring Award: Nomination of a candidate and nominee's CV.; For Outstanding Publication Award: Nomination letter and a PDF of the article or chapter.
