Current member of the American Ornithological Society (AOS); Doctorate degree received or anticipated between 2019–2022; Individuals who received their terminal degree in 2018 are eligible if they took parental leave; Must not have received the award previously

High standard of ethical and social behavior aligned with the AOS Code of Conduct & Ethics; Excellence in research; Distinct promise for leadership in ornithology
