Up to $5,000 USD per grant
Eligibility
Early-career scientists (Ms or PhD) within 5 years of receiving their last degree; Must reside and work in Latin America or the Caribbean; Priority given to those with strong integration with local communities and institutions; Active students are not eligible; Must be or become an active member of the AOS
Requirements
Research must have conservation applications for resident or migratory birds in Mexico, Central America, South America, or the Caribbean; Must have all necessary ethical and legal research permits; Must submit a financial report and progress report one year after funding; Must submit short summary videos (1.5-2 minutes) of the project; Must acknowledge AOS LACCR support in resulting publications
