American Ornithological Society (AOS) Caregiver Grants

Information on grants provided by the AOS to help meeting attendees offset extra costs incurred by dependent-care needs.

Eligibility
Any conference registrant is eligible.; Priority given to presenters and early-career researchers.; Recipients are eligible to apply for another grant two years from their successful application.; Maximum number of grants is three.
Requirements
Must have a high standard of ethical and social behavior aligned with the AOS Code of Conduct & Ethics.; Must register for the annual meeting within 30 days of receiving notification of the grant.
Application materials
Half-page written description (not to exceed 250 words) of the need for support and how funds will be used.
