Eligibility
Must possess a doctoral degree (PhD, DSc, MD, DO, etc.); Independent researchers must hold a full-time faculty position or equivalent; Mentored researchers must be affiliated with a recognized academic or not-for-profit institution; Must be authorized to work in the United States; Medical residents and current graduate students are not eligible; Established investigators are not eligible for the mentored track
Requirements
Institutional commitment to the applicant and proposed research; Research must be relevant to lung health policy or public health programs; Applicants limited to one American Lung Association application per cycle; Grant funds cannot be used for events, lobbying, or legislative meetings

Project title; Institutional letter of support (for mentored applicants); Budget justification; Research plan; Dissemination plan
