Eligibility
Institutions must be nonprofit, US-located, and owned/operated for scientific/educational purposes.; Applicants must be authorized to work in the US.; Institutions must have AAALAC, USDA, and/or IACUC accreditation.; Institutions must be identified as Equal Opportunity Employers.
Requirements
Compliance with PHS Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals.; Compliance with NIH Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals.; IACUC approval and/or AAALAC accreditation must be provided.; Institutional committee approval for biohazard research.; Compliance with HHS 45 C.F.R. pt. 46 for human subjects/stem cells.; Assurance forms for human subjects research.
Important dates
Award payments issued twice a year, generally in August and February.
