Authors of musicological scholarship; Contingent faculty, independent scholars, or professionals whose research activities are not remunerated as part of their paid employment are eligible for additional support
Requirements
Proposals must explore musical issues from any historical, theoretical, or ethnomusicological perspective; Proposals must explain the substance, structure, and disciplinary importance of the work; Proposals must include content of each chapter, current status of the study, and projected completion date; Must include one or more sample chapters
