Yemeni Scholars Fellowship
Information page for the American Institute for Yemeni Studies (AIYS) research fellowship program for Yemeni citizens conducting research within Yemen.
Must be a citizen of the Republic of Yemen; Must be enrolled in a full-time graduate program at a recognized institution, or be a post-doctoral professional or recognized expert; Research must be conducted within Yemen
Requirements
Projects must not have a clear political character; Preference for projects demonstrating research links to Yemen and its people, focusing on understanding and preserving Yemeni heritage; Must provide a detailed project budget; Must obtain necessary research permits for proposed areas; Must acknowledge AIYS support in any resulting publications
