Eligibility

US citizenship; Must hold a PhD or equivalent academic degree; Scholars at all ranks are eligible; Members of the AISLS Board of Directors are not eligible

Requirements

Must plan to spend at least two months in Sri Lanka; Projects must be in social sciences, humanities, or related fields contributing to the understanding of Sri Lanka; Must address competition criteria: quality, targeted category fit, and potential to strengthen US scholarship on Sri Lanka; Must comply with Fly America Act for travel

One-page cover sheet; Curriculum vitae (max 3 pages); Description of proposed study (max 3 single-spaced pages); One-page project bibliography
