Eligibility
Graduate students intending to do doctoral research in Sri Lanka; Enrolled at an American university (any citizenship); US citizens enrolled at a foreign university; Applicants should have completed most graduate coursework by the time they take up the grant
Requirements
Projects in all fields in the social sciences and humanities (including law, strategic studies, and international relations); Travel must be completed before May 1, 2028; Travel for US citizens must be consistent with the Fly America Act
Application materials
One-page cover sheet; Curriculum vitae (max two pages); Graduate transcript (unofficial acceptable); Project narrative (max two single-spaced pages); One-page project bibliography; Confidential letter of recommendation from dissertation supervisor
