Students in grades 5-12; High school category: grades 9-12; Middle school category: grades 5-8; At least one team member must be AI/AN/NH; Team projects limited to no more than three members; High school students must not have reached age 20 on or before May 1 of the year preceding the ISEF

Registration via Stem Wizard; Completion of all required ISEF forms; Adherence to display and safety regulations; No plagiarism, forgery, or fabrication of data; Scientific Review Committee (SRC) approval for specific research types; Adherence to International Rules for Precollege Science Research (ISEF Rules)
