Eligibility

Non-US citizens enrolled as doctoral students at US-institutions; Applicants not affiliated with AIIS member institutions are welcome; Cannot hold other fellowships greater than $10,000 concurrently

Requirements

Obtain Certificate of Affiliation with an Indian research center; US citizens need research visa or special research permission; Show proof of travel within two years of selection

Application materials

Completed application form, CV, unofficial transcripts; Project statement, 1-3 page bibliography; Personal statement, optional revision statement
