Must hold a post-baccalaureate doctoral-level degree (MD, DO, DVM, PharMD, DDS, DPh or PhD in science, nursing, public health or other clinical health science field); Must be an American Heart Association Professional Member at the time of proposal submission

Must have a research mentor; All submissions require the signature of a designated institutional representative; Mentors must maintain active Association Professional Membership
