Eligibility
Must be in a mentored, non-independent research position; Working in the U.S.; No more than four years of postdoctoral research experience after Ph.D. conferral; U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or on a valid U.S. visa
Requirements
Must have an advisory committee including a primary mentor and two or more co-mentors/advisors; Must describe both K99 postdoctoral phase and R00 independent phase; Must clearly describe the transition to independence; R00 phase requires a tenure-track, full-time assistant professor position (or equivalent); R00 position must provide minimum 9 months or 75% research time
