BIM-EP & CM-BIM FAQ

Frequently asked questions regarding the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Building Information Modeling Education Program (BIM-EP) and the CM-BIM credential.

Eligibility
Open to individuals regardless of U.S. citizenship or residency status.; AGC membership is not required to attend courses or sit for the exam.
Requirements
Must attend all four BIM Education Program courses (32 hours total) delivered by an approved instructor.; Must have an approved application in advance of exam administration.; Must pass the 125-question, multiple-choice CM-BIM exam.

How to apply
Complete all four BIM Education Program courses.; Submit the online CM-BIM application once courses are completed.; Pay the CM-BIM exam fee of $575.00.
