Eligibility

Legally blind; Maintain a 3.0 GPA; Full-time student or part-time student working at least 32 hours per week; Involved in school and local community; Attending post-secondary institutions in the United States

Requirements

Certification of legal blindness; Academic transcripts; Two letters of recommendation; Proof of acceptance from a post-secondary school

Application materials

Certification of legal blindness from an ophthalmologist, optometrist or physician; Transcripts (high school for freshmen, undergraduate for graduate students); Two letters of recommendation from a current or recent instructor, career counselor or employer; Proof of acceptance from a post-secondary school

How to apply

Register for an ACB account on the website; Login to the ACB account; Access the scholarship application via the link at the top of the site; Submit application online between November 1, 2026 and February 14, 2027
