Independent investigator with independent research space; No more than 10 years beyond start of postdoctoral research training as of July 1, 2026; Must not be a postdoctoral fellow in a senior investigator's lab; Must not have received major extramural funding as PI or Co-PI (e.g., NIH R01, U01, etc.); Must not be senior faculty (Associate Professor or higher); Must not be a former recipient of this award or specific AFAR/GFMR junior faculty grants
Requirements
Research must focus on aging-related -omics (genomics, epigenomics, proteomics, metabolomics, transcriptomics, methylomics); Research must focus on biological versus chronological aging in animals or humans; Must not be research on Alzheimer's Disease or related dementias
