Postdoctoral fellows (MD, MD/PhD, or PhD); Research must be conducted at a qualified not-for-profit setting in the United States; Not eligible: NIH Intramural program employees; Not eligible: Postdoctoral fellows in laboratories supported by a Paul F. Glenn Center for Biology of Aging Research; Not eligible: Former GFMR postdoctoral fellowship awardees; Applicants with >5 years of postdoctoral training must provide justification

Requirements

Research must focus on basic aging mechanisms or translational findings with direct benefits to human aging and healthspan; Projects strictly clinical in nature (diagnosis, treatment, social context) are not eligible; Must attend the combined Glenn AFAR Grantee Conference and Glenn Workshop on the Biology of Aging; Salary/stipend must equal or exceed NIH pay scale for postdoctoral fellowships
