Award amount

EUR 70 per month for travel health insurance

Eligibility

Research fellows and accompanying family members; Family members must accompany for an uninterrupted period of 3 months; Not eligible if insured under statutory health insurance based on own income; Not eligible if employed and subject to social insurance contributions in Germany

Requirements

Must be insured with a company offering sufficient cover in Germany; Application for subsidy required; Copy of insurance policy with premium and start date needed; Marriage and birth certificates required for family members if no visa needed
