Faculty at institutions of higher education; Postdoctoral researchers; Other doctoral level scholars; Must have received doctoral degree at start of award; U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents; Non-U.S. citizens affiliated with a U.S. university or institution
Requirements
Must use large-scale data (federal databases, federally supported national studies, international datasets, or SLDS); Research must have intellectual merit and broad impact; Must not have previously received an AERA Research Grant as PI or CoPI; Must have permission to use data at time of application; Must share data or data-related products produced under the award; No indirect costs or overhead allowed
