Eligibility
Received separation or retirement orders; OEF/OIF/OND combat Veterans: up to 10 years free VA health care for service-related conditions; Recently separated Veterans (including National Guard/Reserve): based on service history, VA disability rating, income; Military retirees: may qualify for TRICARE and VA health care; Medically retired: VA care for service-connected disabilities, other care via TRICARE; Not eligible if active-duty for training purposes only
Requirements
Apply for VA health care; Enroll in TRICARE within 90 days of separation/retirement (if applicable); Active duty using VA: emergency/urgent care, or routine care with TRICARE referral/VA-DoD agreement
