Must be an ACSM national member in good standing (ACSM chapter membership alone does not qualify); Open to M.D.s, D.O.s, P.T.s, ATCs, and other medical professionals involved in patient-based clinical research; Previous ACSM Foundation grantees must have submitted final grant and expenditure reports
Requirements
Research must be directly related to clinical sports medicine; Study must involve active patient care provided to recreational, competitive, or elite athletes; Grantees must attend the ACSM Annual Meeting Honors event the year the award is received; Grantees must present funded research at a future ACSM Annual Meeting; Grantees must send the ACSM Foundation a copy of any publications or presentations related to the funded research
