Cancer Health Research Centers (CHERCs)
Official Request for Applications (RFA) for the American Cancer Society's Cancer Health Research Center (CHERC) program, which funds research addressing cancer health disparities.
Independent researchers at eligible US academic institutions or non-profits; Applicants from underrepresented groups and Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) are encouraged; Center PI must have a strong track record in cancer health disparities research, mentoring, and leadership
Requirements
Must address cancer health disparities affecting local or regional communities; Must include a Supportive Core managed by the PI; Must demonstrate ability to reach populations of interest; Must include evaluation metrics for the Supportive Core
