Eligibility
Work at a US academic institution or eligible non-profit; PI on no more than 1 R01 or R01-equivalent grant at time of application; For new applications: first appointed as independent, full-time faculty 8 years ago or less; Current or former RSG grantees are not eligible for a second RSG (unless funded via special initiative)
Requirements
Must be an independent, self-directed researcher; Institution must provide space and resources customary for independent investigators; Proposal must fit within an ACS priority research area
