Eligibility

PhD dissertation must have HPC as a central research theme; Dissertation must have been successfully defended or accepted during the previous calendar year; Dissertation must be submitted in the final form accepted by the department; Dissertation must be submitted in English; Open to students studying anywhere in the world; Only one dissertation may be nominated per academic department

Requirements

Nominator must be the candidate's advisor or a member of their dissertation committee; Nominator must coordinate with the department head to ensure only one nomination per department; Candidate must provide a current CV and a copy of the dissertation; Minimum of one and maximum of three endorsements required; Endorsements must be a maximum of one page each; Officers of ACM and members of the selection committee are ineligible to nominate or endorse

How to apply

Nominator completes the online nomination form; Nominator provides the candidate with the URL for the candidate information form; Candidate completes the candidate form and uploads CV and dissertation; Candidate contacts endorsers to submit their letters via email to dissertation@sighpc.org
