Eligibility

Graduating high school seniors who take the National German Exam and score in the 90th percentile or higher; Must receive a gold medal on the National German Exam; Be in high school; Be 18-years-old or turning 18-years-old in Summer 2026; Have a minimum of a B average; Have not previously won similar awards

Requirements

Score in the 90th percentile or higher on the National German Exam and receive a gold medal; Submit a brief essay in German (10-20 sentences) explaining how they plan to use German after graduation

AATG chapter name; Standard group percentile score; Brief essay in German (10-20 sentences)
